Episode Summary

In this episode, Véronique and Paola explore the quiet intelligence of the body — the signals we ignore, the cues we miss, and what it really means to listen to yourself before the whispers become screams.
They talk about body wisdom, how breath reveals emotional states, and why building trust with your body is a lifelong relationship worth tending.

Key Themes We Explore

• What body wisdom actually means — and why we lose touch with it as we grow
• How your breath reflects your emotional state in real time
• The body cues we tend to ignore (thirst, tension, stiffness) vs. the ones we can’t miss
• Building trust with your body as an ongoing relationship, not a destination
• How our stage of life shapes the way we listen — and what we owe our future selves
• The grounding breath practice and three-breath body check-in from the Breathwork Mini Guide

Favorite Moments From the Conversation

• Paola sharing that she passed her exam — and how she felt the weight lift physically from her chest before her mind had caught up.
• Véronique admitting she once went to bed having drunk nothing but coffee all day, knew she’d wake up with a headache, and still couldn’t be bothered to get water.
• The live grounding breath practice — and Véronique saying she relaxed so deeply she couldn’t hold onto her thoughts. “My brain just went blank.”
• The honest conversation about stretching: it feels good, it’s easy, and we still put it off. Both of them nodding.
• Véronique’s teaser for next week’s resource: “This is the one I’ve been most excited about.” And then her brain blanking mid-sentence — which she immediately recognized as one of the nervous system patterns from the workbook.

Véronique is the founder and creator of Sanctuary of Wings, a space born from her search for peace after years of chaos. In 2023, her daughter’s diagnosis with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma reshaped her life. Through that journey she discovered the power of calm — lessons she continues to integrate into her own path. Two years later, caring for birds who had endured hardship yet slowly learned to fly became another living metaphor for renewal, reminding her that healing is a shared process of learning to spread our wings again.

Sanctuary of Wings is her dream, but not a finished destination — it is a journey she is still on, and one she hopes to share with others. Through journals, podcasts, and creative tools, Véronique opens space for collective reflection, where each person can bring their own experiences and together discover new ways of finding balance.

Her invitation is simple: to join her in seeking peace. Whether through daily rituals, creative expression, or shared conversation, Sanctuary of Wings is a place where we guide each other, gently and at our own pace.
